Lead high-impact engine development and upgrade programs from concept through first-engine shipment, transforming breakthrough ideas into real-world energy solutions. Partner across engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and service to deliver complex programs that advance technology, accelerate innovation, mitigate risk, and create lasting value for customers around the globe.
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Lead end-to-end engine development and upgrade programs from concept through first-engine shipment, delivering technical objectives on time and within R&D budget.
  • Drive program strategy, schedules, milestones, investment planning, and execution across global engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, and service teams.
  • Apply QFD, FMEA, SIRA, and other engineering tools to optimize designs, assess risk, and balance technical, commercial, and business priorities.
  • Lead resolution of complex technical challenges by driving root cause analysis, corrective actions, validation, and implementation.
  • Champion disciplined product development processes, governance, and documentation to ensure predictable execution and exceptional quality.
  • Provide clear stakeholder communication, transparent program visibility, and strong cross-functional leadership to keep teams aligned and accelerate results.
What You Bring
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, with PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of project or program management experience leading complex engineering, product development, or R&D initiatives; additional experience may be considered for higher-level placement.
  • Proven ability to manage significant R&D investments, budgets, resource allocation, and program financial performance while balancing technical, cost, schedule, quality, and business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success leading global cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Service, and Leadership to achieve program goals.
  • Strong knowledge of product development lifecycles, risk management, and structured engineering methodologies (such as FMEA, QFD, Stage-Gate, PDP, or equivalent), with a track record of delivering products from concept through launch or first-customer delivery.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
