The Web Application Security team has a great group of engineers across multiple disciplines (QA, Dev, Ops, Cloud, etc.) that work together building and delivering the Veracode Web Application Scanning service. The service has multiple facets of delivery including and on-prem appliance, a traditional datacenter and cluster of virtualized servers, a team of scan engineers who assist customers to configure and execute scans, a quality control function to maintain high standards through continuous improvement programs, and most recently a powerful cloud component delivered through AWS. Our teams are built to be independent, autonomous units of engineering excellence and we are looking for a proven leader to guide this team through their charter towards expansive market opportunity.

Manage performance for a team of cross functional engineers
Deliver results through roadmap planning and execution in partnership with Product Management
Works with PM to clearly outline alternatives, pros/cons, and risks/mitigations to different projects
Mentor folks from entry level to architects as they grow in their careers
Develop cross functional relationships to a broader sphere of the organization and partner with peers to deliver business objectives
Provide leadership in good times and bad while maintaining high standards of professionalism
Proactively seek out and resolve conflict within the team to ensure an opportunity for the team to be highly efficient and effective
Set goals for the team you lead and manage to positive outcomes
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
