The Job:

Stanley Engineered Fastening is looking for a driven, customer-focusedAccount Managerto help grow our business within a defined geographic territory. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who has experience sellingengineered productsand enjoys working closely with customers in industrial and manufacturing environments. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strong customer relationships, and identifying new opportunities with OEMs, distributors, and manufacturing customers. You will work directly with design and manufacturing engineers to understand application needs and recommend tailored fastening solutions that deliver real value. You will also get to:

  • Drive sales growth forSTANLEY Engineered Fasteningproducts within your assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute territory plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Build strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Partner withdesign engineers, manufacturing engineers, purchasing teams, and other decision-makersto understand needs and recommend the right solutions.
  • Apply your experience sellingengineered or technical productsto support customer applications and solve business challenges.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitive developments to identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, prepare forecasts, and provide territory updates to leadership.
  • Develop a strong understanding of product features, benefits, and value propositions in order to communicate effectively with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product management, and customer service to support customer success and business growth.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experiencein business development, account management, technical sales, or application engineering within thefastener, tooling, industrial supply, engineered components, or related industrial markets
  • Proven experience selling engineered products or technical solutionsin a B2B environment.
  • Experience working withOEMs, distributors, and industrial customers
  • Strong consultative selling, territory management, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and commercial audiences
  • Proficiency withCRM tools, preferablySalesforce.com
  • Willingness to travel50-75%to meet with customers and prospects
