Role Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive end-to-end display algorithm development, validation, and execution for AR/Smart Glasses products. The Display Algorithms TPM will plan, coordinate, and execute workflows spanning algorithm development, software implementation, hardware testing, and prototype validation. This role supports the technical team in delivering validation milestones to ensure display compensation algorithms meet image quality requirements on hardware.
Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute end-to-end validation milestones for algorithm model development, hardware testing, and software readiness.
  • Drive alignment and execution across interdependent workstreams, including display hardware, testing, software, and architecture.
  • Proactively manage hardware allocation and device availability to support validation timelines.
  • Continuously assess program risks and drive mitigation plans, maintaining a risk register.
  • Coordinate with the engineering team to communicate program status, validation results, and risk summaries to leadership and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Education: B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 3+ years of experience as a technical program manager in hardware/software co-development programs and 3+ years of experience in display technology, image processing, algorithm validation, or related electro-optical systems engineering.
Skills: Experience leading multi-workstream execution across hardware, firmware, and software teams; ability to manage programs with significant hardware dependencies; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with display compensation algorithms and related image quality pipelines.
  • Familiarity with display technology testing methodologies.
  • Experience managing consumer device programs from prototype validation through mass production.
  • Knowledge of AR/VR/XR display systems, including near-eye display architectures and image quality metrics.
Compensation
The pay range for this position is $64.00/hour to $74.00/hour.
