Role Summary:ย 

The Director of Program Management will lead and oversee complex, multi-regional programs, ensuring successful product development and deployment from concept through execution. This role drives strategic alignment across cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, supply chain, and manufacturing, while fostering a high-performing, collaborative team culture. The Director will provide executive-level visibility into program status, risks, and opportunities, and will own processes, budgets, and schedules to ensure delivery of high-quality results on time and within cost.ย 

Responsibilities:ย 

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of complex programs, ensuring milestones, scope, budget, and quality commitments are consistently met.ย 
  • ย Lead and drive cross-functional collaboration across global teams in Singapore and the U.S., aligning programย objectivesย with organizational strategy.ย 
  • Manage, mentor, and buildย aย high-performing program management team, fostering professional growth, accountability, and collaboration.ย 
  • Driveย program financials, controlling budgets andย facilitatingย cost optimization while balancing scope, quality, and timelineย objectives.ย 
  • Provide executive-level reporting and communications, delivering transparency to leadership, partners, and stakeholders, andย facilitatingย informed decision-making.ย 
  • Work with our Supply Chain team to ensure material readinessย is aligned with engineering goals toย mitigate supply chain, material, and qualityย risksย in our product development and executionย 
  • Set strategic direction for project engineers and cross-functional teams, aligning priorities, requirements, risk mitigation, and program schedules with business goals.ย 
  • Define program scope, roadmap, and budgets in collaboration with product management and engineering leadership to drive successful product outcomes.ย 
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain in leadingย cost reduction and operational efficiency initiatives across programs, ensuring product costs, inventory, and financial targets areย optimized.ย 
  • Develop, refine, and implement program management frameworks, processes, and best practices to enable consistent, scalable, and efficient program execution.ย 
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage program risks,ย establishingย mitigation plans,ย evaluatingย trade-offs, andย implementingย corrective actions to maximize risk mitigation.ย 
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional development within the program management organization.ย 

Qualifications:ย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineeringย or a related field; advanced degree preferredย (master's in engineering).ย 
  • 10+ years of experience in program management or operations leadership, preferably in global, multi-site environments.ย 
  • Provenย track recordย of managing complex, cross-functional programs from concept to execution.ย 
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills, with experience managing high-performing teams.ย 
  • Exceptionallyย strong communicationย skillsย thatย demonstrateย an ability to communicate visually verbally and in writingย to both technical and non-technical team members.ย 
  • Experience working in an engineering organization focused on electrical systems, power electronics, or otherย similarย productsย inย a manufacturing / production environment.ย 
  • Thrive under pressure while managing competing priorities, challenges, and program risks, quickly adapting to changes to ensure successful program execution.ย 
  • Willingness and ability to travel up toย 20% including internationallyย

Compensation: $230-$270k + equity
