What We’re Looking For in a Program Management Analyst II?

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Office, SharePoint, and shall use relevant programs to schedule meetings and briefings, prepare correspondence/briefings/scientific documents.

  • Provide Program Management and Pre-Award administrative assistance necessary to support all aspects of USAMRIID’S Directorate of Foundational Sciences Mission.

  • Prepare and coordinates submissions; managing the working relationships with PI’, investigators and visiting scientists from all Divisions.

  • Develop a project management plan for review and approval by the Director/Division Chiefs/PI’s to include a comprehensive spreadsheet to allow real time tracking of expenditures, obligated, and committed funds, and shall coordinate with investigators to update issues and progress for each active project on at least a quarterly basis.

  • Assure compliance with RPO metrics pertaining to research administrations, including but not limited to quality of execution, management of funds, legal agreements, timeliness, effort certification and budgetary issues.

  • Run reports and perform analyses of the portfolio, upon request.

  • Work closely pre and post award with the Research Program team and the study team to facilitate the transition of detailed information regarding projects.

  • Oversee and manage post-award financial and research administration activities.

  • Review correspondence and ensure formatting is in accordance with AR25-50 and all applicable guidance.

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, and training sessions.

  • Attend meetings for the purpose of taking meeting minutes. The minutes shall be transcribed in the correct format and distributed to attendees or as directed by the meeting organizer.
