The Role:
The Senior Manager - Program Resiliency is responsible for driving development of Tier n resiliency plans, managing execution of plans for commodity team, and ensuring accurate reporting/metrics for the team, from development through implementation and ongoing evolution, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders at GM. This position requires strong communication skills, a high degree of autonomy, and the ability to effectively influence stakeholders across all areas.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
  • Create and align commodity strategies to strengthen resilience with resiliency task force team
  • Support commodity team in engaging with suppliers to champion critical resolution plans, banking execution, and execution of approved plans
  • Lead risk identification, prioritization, read across, and champion mitigation efforts across components in commodity team
  • Responsible for commodity team resiliency data management
  • Collaborate with Engineering and other areas to Ensure commodity team is meeting program milestones for resiliency execution
  • Analyze data to determine risk areas within the commodity team
  • Support the alignment with specialized teams e.g. commodity, raw materials

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, project/program management/account management or engineering
  • Microsoft Excel- intermediate capability (Analysis & Visualization)
