Job description

Abacus Technology is seeking an Acquisition Program Manager to provide acquisition and advisory services in support of the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB.  This is a full-time position.


  • Investigate, analyze, plan, evaluate, draft and/or recommend solutions for project/program efforts. 
  • Provide expert level issue resolution and recommendation support to achieve desired program outcomes. 
  • Apply broad knowledge of organizational missions and programs, such as acquisition management and modernization planning. 
  • Review initial and revised acquisition documents and provide the enterprise level perspective to ensure consistency and accuracy. 
  • Provide comments on acquisition documentation that add value from an enterprise perspective and facilitate an integrated, system-of-systems approach across the division.

15+ years experience including at least 10 years in acquisition program management for DoD programs.  Masterโ€™s degree in a related field.  Able to apply knowledge of and expertise with acquisition management, program management, budget/finance principles and methodologies, modernization planning, and the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Executing (PPBE) process.  Must have strong communication skills.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Top Secret clearance.

The projected compensation range for this position is $158,700-$175,400. There are multiple factors that can impact a final salary, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (if remote or different from the stated location for this position), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
