Job description

GCyber is hiring a Senior Program Manager to lead a high-profile Air Force communications program. The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the contract across three network sites and a systems integration lab. 
This position is hybrid, based at Scott AFB, IL, with an onsite requirement of 3-4 days per week. Given the classified nature of the work, there is no opportunity for fully remote work.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
As the Senior Program Manager, you will:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact to the customer and hold responsibility for all contract requirements and performance across three sites.
  • Supervise and oversee performance of contract and subcontract personnel.
  • Manage the deliverable schedule, including monthly status reports, project status tracking, project checklists, and annual program management reviews.
  • Lead recurring technical coordination meetings with Government engineers and site personnel to validate requirements, set priorities, and report project status.
  • Track and report program metrics against the contract performance standards, and correct performance issues before they affect service.
  • Serve as Property Custodian for Government-furnished equipment at all three sites and maintain accountability in accordance with Air Force IT asset management policy.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
  • Active DoD TOP SECRET clearance and enrollment in Continuous Vetting
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • DoD 8140/8570 IA baseline certification.
  • BA/BS and 10+ years of experience managing DoD IT services programs. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years as a Program Manager or Task Order Manager with full performance responsibility on a contract of similar size and scope.
  • Experience managing technical staff at multiple government installations.
  • Ability to work onsite at Scott AFB, IL, 3-4 days per week.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Program management experience supporting Air Mobility Command, the 89th Communications Squadron, or Air Force network operations or other Executive Communications mission sets
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow IT Business Management (ITBM) for project and contract management workflows
