Job Description:

The Supply Chain Program Manager (SCPM) will use their past experience in Supply Chain and/or Program or Product Management to lead a cross functional team to develop a robust Supply Chain Strategy, lead proposal efforts and execute for key programs across within Agile Development Group. In collaboration with functional leaders, the SCPM will institute tailored "right sized" practices and approaches for successful execution on early engineering design efforts, to complete product life cycle with a focus risk and opportunity management to ensure top notch execution. The SCPM will be responsible for program proposal efforts, cost, schedule and compliance with internal and external regulations with respect to materials and subcontracts. In this highly visible role, the SCPM will collaborate across functions and be part of the Supply Chain team serving as a key interface to Program and Product Offices, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Operations. This individual will also be a Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain and Programmatic Practice.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead supply chain aspects of key pursuits to support growth initiatives within division
  • Responsible for leading supply chain program management in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to drive execution, alignment with commodity strategies, supply base optimization, and lowest total acquisition cost on a key development and growth Programs.
  • Able to use hands-on, cross-functional approaches to identify pain points and drive improvements.
  • Work with the assigned functional and program leaders to track and coordinate all program deliverables, highlighting key program risks and putting plans in place to mitigate those risks, providing regular reports/updates on program status, including identification and mitigation of long-term supply chain risks
  • Manage the flow of critical milestones and project requirements including analysis of supplier capacity and capability. Will ensure supplier ability to supply parts with on-going adjustment of material flow for adequate line fill and inventory optimization
  • Provide technical support for DFx (design for all desirable manufacturability, assembly, test attributes) including reviewing engineering changes and assessment of materials/supply chain impact
  • Active engagement in process improvements to continually increase efficiency and effectiveness of product development and supply chain processes
  • Manage supplier relationships and supplier performance to achieve program and customer requirements
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
