Job Description

The Program Management Assistant position is responsible for supporting program management on day to day requirements and deadlines for written correspondence, scheduling requirements, proposal activities, subcontract management, contracts support, and interface with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists higher-level employees with writing, organizing, and submitting proposal responses.
  • Supports the program management staff on operational tasks.
  • Assists in performing analysis of solicitation requirements
  • Assists with editing and formatting documents and proposals.
  • Assists with proposal outlines, development, scheduling, and final submission coordination.
  • Assists and supports commonly used contracting methods and contract types related request for information submissions, draft RFP outlines, and final RFP submissions.
  • Presents factual information, composes memoranda, minutes and reports, and drafts provisions and supporting documents.
  • Plans and carries out recurring work using established procedures, conferring with the supervisor or higher-level specialists as necessary on technical problems.
  • Supports the contracts manager and proposal coordinator on reporting tasks.
  • Oversees and corresponds with subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality over information, conversations, and schedules.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of five years of relevant experience within a DoD or military environment.
  • Must have skill in problem solving and analysis.
  • Must be customer/client focused and be able to manage projects in a timely manner.
  • Must possess interpersonal skills, leadership attributes, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
