A Manager Product Manager at a startup oversees the product management team and is responsible for guiding the product strategy and execution. They work closely with cross-functional teams such as engineering, design, and marketing to ensure the product meets customer needs and aligns with the company's vision. At a startup, this role often involves wearing multiple hats, making quick decisions, and adapting to rapid changes. The Manager Product Manager also mentors junior product managers, sets priorities, and measures the success of product initiatives.

How does a product manager at a startup typically balance strategic planning with hands-on execution?

At a startup, a Product Manager often wears multiple hats, balancing long-term product vision with immediate execution tasks. This means you might spend part of your day developing and refining product roadmaps, while also jumping in to gather user feedback, write user stories, or even support go-to-market activities. The fast-paced, resource-limited environment requires flexibility and close collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams. Being adaptable and comfortable with shifting priorities is essential, as you'll frequently need to pivot based on new data or evolving business needs.

Outstanding communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills help you excel in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and lead cross-functional teams. These abilities are crucial for driving product vision, aligning stakeholders, and delivering innovative solutions quickly in a competitive startup landscape.

We believe in the diversity of our people, ideas, and experiences and are committed to building an inclusive culture that is representative of the communities we serve.
Client is looking for a motivated, talented and innovative Sr Product Manager who is passionate about driving emerging technology.
This role will be a key member of the National Integration Services (NIS) team, part of the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the client.
NIS' middleware technologies support business objectives for internal departments such as Cash, Markets, Statistics and Reserves, Bank Supervision and Regulation, and external departments including the US Treasury.
The fast growing, dynamic and proven NIS teams are a tight-knit, cross-functional group that tightly collaborates to deliver impactful results to our businesses across the client.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with NIS and be involved in leading an integration solution product for a critical new client initiative that will be transformative to the payments landscape in the United States.
This role will be responsible for demonstrating powerful leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic landscape where ambiguity is the norm and maintaining composure and diplomacy while managing and driving a complex and highly visible product and program plan across multiple teams, departments, and levels of stakeholders, including executive leadership.
Who We're Looking For You are a self-motivated, analytical, excellent communicator who leverages superior organizational awareness and collaborative influence to drive results and create value across multiple complex workstreams.
