Procurement Coordinator 
On-Site - Merchandising - Full Time 

The Procurement Coordinator at GOVX supports the business by implementing best-in-class processes for data-driven inventory ordering and management. This role ensures GOVX purchases products that are relevant and desirable to our members, using insights and demand prediction. The Procurement Coordinator is a creative problem solver, partnering to develop and execute effective inventory plans. This position reports to the Director of GXFC and Inventory. 

Responsibilities 

  • Achieve inventory objectives by building and maintaining demand forecasts and aligning inventory levels to support revenue goals. 
  • Develop demand forecasts to support future purchasing decisions and inventory planning, using historical performance, trends, and business inputs for upcoming assortments and buys. 
  • Utilize and maintain procurement systems and tools to support purchasing decisions and inventory planning. 
  • Analyze SKU performance, including top sellers, underperforming items, and trends impacting demand and purchasing decisions. 
  • Execute purchasing activities, including PO creation, order tracking, and delivery confirmation, while maintaining proactive vendor communication throughout the order lifecycle to ensure accuracy and on-time receipt. 
  • Prepare and analyze sell-through reporting and provide recommendations on order adjustments or cancellations. 
  • Clearly communicate inventory strategies and purchasing recommendations to senior leadership using clear reporting and analysis. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory planning and purchasing processes through data analysis and tools. 
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of purchasing and inventory data through consistent execution of processes and checks. 
  • Partner cross-functionally with Partner Management, Warehouse Operations and Logistics, and Finance to coordinate inventory flow, resolve supply issues, and support broader business objectives. 

Requirements

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • 1 year of experience in procurement or inventory management is preferred. 

Skills and Requirements 

  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills; able to interpret data for informed decisions. 
  • Experience with NetSuite. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, data analysis, and basic forecasting calculations). 
  • Experience with planning and forecasting systems. 
  • Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and make decisions on complex issues. 
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and the ability to learn quickly, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and continuously develop procurement and supply chain expertise within an expanding organization. 
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting strategies and insights to executives and cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements, risk mitigation, and inventory optimization. 
  • Ability to work independently, exercise judgment, and make decisions on complex issues. 
  • Operates with ownership and urgency.
