Schedule
Rotating Shift Schedule: Days/Evenings/Nights, including Weekends and Holidays. On-Call/Callback.
Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
Requirements
- RN License (New York only)
- Telemetry Experience Required
- Two (2) Years of Experience
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association only)
- NIHSS Certification (highly preferred)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, including stroke, epilepsy, and chronic neurological diseases.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
- Monitor patients' status and respond to changes in condition effectively.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and disease management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical outcomes.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation and training may be required prior to the start date.
- Completion of background checks and drug screens may be necessary.
- Required dress code is consistent with professional nursing standards.
