What You Will Do:

The Principal Fraud Analytics Technical Lead will leadday-to-day executionoffraud analytics workstreams, coordinate delivery of analytical products, andprovidetechnical guidancesupporting fraud monitoring,investigations, reporting, andplatformoperations.This position will use broad judgment to select methods and techniques, analyze complex situations and data, prepare briefings and recommendations, andprovidetask-level technical guidanceto improve fraud detection, analytics workflows, and operational outcomes.

  • Lead execution of assigned fraud analytics workstreams, continuous enhancements, application onboarding activities, platform support efforts, and stakeholder coordination activities.

  • Analyze complex situations and data using professional concepts, methodologies, and broad judgment toidentifyfraudulent activity, anomalous behavior, emerging risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Identifyalternative applications for existing tools, techniques, technologies, data models, and analytics workflows to improve results and influence operational outcomes.

  • Provide day-to-day technical leadership and work coordination to supporttimelycompletion of analytics, reporting, data integration, and investigative activities.

  • Implement, test,validate, andmaintainfraud indicators, detection logic, analytical algorithms, predictive models, and statistical analysis approaches.

  • Support data ingestion, schema alignment, data quality review, extract, transform, load activities, and analytics workflow improvements.

  • Collaborate with technical teams, analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, evaluate options, and support delivery of fraud analytics capabilities.

  • Prepare and present technical briefings, reports, executive summaries, dashboards, and recommendations based on analytical findings and operational needs.

  • Support investigative and forensic analysis of transactional, behavioral, and system activity data toidentifytrends, root causes, and potential attack vectors.

  • Track workstream progress, coordinate task assignments, and support delivery of recurring reports, analytical findings, and stakeholder briefings.

  • Work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week and collaborate closely with government personnel and contractor team members.


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain andmaintaina Public Trust clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Information Science, ora STEM relatedfield.

  • SEVEN (7) or more years of professional experience supporting fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, data science, data engineering, predictive analytics, incident response, investigations, platform advisory, or related technical delivery.

  • Experience leading tasks or program segments in data analytics, cybersecurity, fraud analytics, systems integration, or platform advisory environments.

  • Experience analyzing complex situations and data using professional concepts, methodologies, broad judgment, and independent problem solving.

  • Experience preparing and presenting technical reports, briefings, dashboards, recommendations, or executive-ready analytical products.

  • Experience providing technical direction, mentorship, or task-level leadership to team members completing analytics, data integration, documentation, or investigative tasks.

  • Experience leading day-to-day technical execution of analytical projects, investigations, or delivery teams.

  • Experience using tools and technologies such as Python, R, Java, Linux shell scripting, SQL/no-SQL databases, Spark, Elasticsearch, Parquet,SIEM platforms includingSplunk, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

  • Experience with web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, Python/Flask, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, orReactin support of platform advisory, analytics ecosystem, data/application integration, dashboard, or application-facing analytics work.

  • Ability and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Lanham, Maryland five (5) days per week.


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience supporting fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, data science, or incident response in a federal or large enterprise environment.

  • Experience supporting online application monitoring, identity verification, digital identity, credential service provider integrations, or large-scale transaction monitoring environments.

  • Experience developing or supporting machine learning models, predictive models, statistical models, analytical algorithms, fraud indicators, or detection logic.

  • Experience withSIEMplatforms,including Splunk,cybersecurity monitoring technologies, or large-scale log analysis.

  • Experience supporting incident response, investigations, open-source research, threat intelligence, or stakeholder coordination.

  • Experience supporting data ingestion, schema alignment, data source onboarding, data architecture, or analytics workflow integration.

  • Experience developing dashboards or visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies, collaborative development environments, and federal consulting environments.

  • Candidate currentlypossessesan active Internal Revenue Service(IRS)Moderate Background Investigation clearance or has held one within the last six (6) months.
