Join a group of passionate advocates on our mission to improve the lives of youth! Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Compliance Coordinator/Trainer at Western Secure Treatment Unit in Emlenton, Pennsylvania
Western Secure Treatment Unit (WSTU) is a secure post-adjudication facility that provides comprehensive services to young women (14-21), using a trauma-informed, strength-based, gender responsive model. Through rigorous education, positive skill development, and individualized therapeutic interventions and treatment, we empower youth to reach their full potential. The facility features residential student dormitories, on-site schooling, a vocational CTE student work training program, a dining hall, and extracurricular opportunities for the young men. Pay: $60,000/annually

What you will do: The Compliance Coordinator/Trainer understands and implements all licensing requirements per state guidelines ~ Attends Leadership meetings and disseminates information across departments ~ Attends all integrated monitoring by the ROP Quality Assurance Team and licensing agencies. ~ Conducts quarterly internal standard audits with a subsequent follow up to ensure all employees are trained and aware of all licensing, state and federal regulations including PREA. Each internal audit and follow up should take no longer than one week. ~ Partners with HR in areas of Risk Management for the site. ~ Conducts internal monitoring, auditing and periodic risk assessments to ensure all employees are trained and aware of all licensing, state and federal regulations including PREA. ~ Oversees the program CQI process. ~ Works with external agencies and supports internal departments through policies and training to ensure compliance of regulations and ROP Policies. ~ Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; develops corrective action plans.
To be considered you should: Possess a High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. ~ At least 4 years of experience in auditing and training or a Bachelor's degree in related field and one year of experience in auditing and training. ~ Be at least 21 years of age ~ Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC for pre-employment), physical, and TB test ~ Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
