Austin, TX
Permanent | Fully Onsite (Some Flexibility to Work Remotely on Fridays)
Soni's client is seeking an Analyst, Portfolio Management to support portfolio strategy, investment analysis, and capital planning initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys financial modeling, working with large datasets, and partnering with leadership to drive strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities of the Analyst, Portfolio Management :
  • Build and maintain financial models, including cash flow forecasts, valuations, IRR analyses, and portfolio performance models
  • Support hold/sell analysis, portfolio optimization, and disposition strategy initiatives
  • Analyze portfolio composition, capital structure, and growth opportunities
  • Prepare executive, board, and investor presentations and reporting packages
  • Partner cross-functionally to gather data, develop assumptions, and provide actionable insights
  • Support monthly and quarterly investor reporting and ad hoc analysis requests
  • Assist with strategic projects and business initiatives across the organization

Requirements of the Analyst, Portfolio Management:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in finance, investment analysis, banking, consulting, FP&A, asset management, real estate, or a related analytical environment
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models from scratch
  • Strong SQL skills required; Python experience is a plus
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and translating findings into business recommendations
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA, CFA, or other advanced financial designation
  • Experience in real estate, asset management, portfolio management, or investment environments
  • Exposure to Tableau, Yardi, or similar reporting and analytics tools

Compensation:
$75,000 - $80,000 base salary plus bonus potential.
Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
