Job description

Essential Functions:
  • Develop business strategies to raise our customer's pool, expand store traffic, increase basket size and optimize profitability
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Ensure high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent customer service
  • Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Maintain outstanding store condition, plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
  • Upholds Daiso's standards for display presentation
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
  • Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc)
  • Managing the store, both retail and company, inventory, including loss prevention through theft and breakage
  • Training new employees and providing ongoing education for employees
  • Effectively create store schedules to meet customer demand while meeting payroll targets
  • Create employee schedules, assign schedules and responsibilities to associates, checking to see if these assignments are carried through
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, and offboarding poor-performing staff

Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3+ Years of Relevant Experience
