Material Handler

Description

Who you are:

  • Perform daily shipping and receiving activities
  • Accurately receive, inspect, and document shipments
  • Prepare and process outbound shipments
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records and supporting documentation
  • Safely unload chassis and transport materials to designated warehouse and pole barn locations
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory around facility
  • Ensure all inventory movements are accurately recorded in AX
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
  • Support production and other departments with inventory and material needs

What you know:

  • Safe operation of equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers
  • Familiarity with materials management and inventory control
  • Understanding of warehousing and/or production software

What you'll do:

  • Correctly pull and deliver products and components to support the production process
  • Return materials to proper locations, updating system inventory as needed
  • Accurately and efficiently maintain inventory
  • Adhere to safety procedures, clean up of work area daily
  • Other duties as assigned
