What You'll Do
As an RVT, you'll play a vital role in patient care by:
- Assisting veterinarians with appointments, treatments, and procedures
- Monitoring anesthesia before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Preparing patients for surgery and ensuring a safe recovery
- Collecting laboratory samples and performing diagnostic testing
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Educating clients and providing exceptional customer service
- Maintaining accurate medical records using the practice management system
- Collaborating with doctors and team members to provide the highest standard of patient care
What We're Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) credential
- Strong technical skills in anesthesia, surgery, patient care, and nursing
- Experience using veterinary practice management software (PIMS)
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a collaborative mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Lead Veterinary Technician experience
- Experience with Cornerstone Practice Management Software
