Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the preparation and management of Fee Petitions at both the State Agency and Federal levels
  • Manage Fee Petition process post-submission
  • Assist with maintain the CRM database
  • Maintain contact with either the pertinent District Office for SSI or payment center for SSD to track status of notices of approval, fee agreement payments, pending fee petitions, and approved fee petitions at any level
  • Data entry and report generation
  • Send invoices to clients and manage all correspondence regarding invoices
  • Manage client over-payments
  • Make calls to Payment Centers and SSA
  • Answer incoming phone calls and field client questions
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures
  • Any additional duties, as requested

Requirements:
  • Associates degree and/or paralegal certificate or two years of relevant work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe
  • Customer service skills and experience
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and data entry
  • Prior legal and/or Social Security experience is a plus
  • Experience with Litify is a plus
