Job description

Starting Range: $15.00/hourly to $15.81/hourly.

Benefits: Retirement Benefits, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays (Eligibility is based on actual hours worked), and Wellness Program.

The United Pentecostal Church International is currently recruiting for the position of Administrative Associate I within Youth Ministries. The purpose of this position is to assist each of the 5 major ministries of Youth Ministries. Much of this employee’s work will be with the promotional aspects of Youth Ministries (mailers, websites, products, warehousing, etc.). However, there are weekly office tasks that the general Youth Ministries office needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Completing miscellaneous tasks assigned by the Youth President, Executive Assistant, and Youth Ministries Executives.
  • Handle all shipping and receiving of any products/returns.
  • Capture product photos for the Youth Ministries store.
  • Set up the studio for video shoots as needed.
  • Complete all paperwork for the following:
    • Shipment Received Forms
    • Record completed Basecamp tasks.
  • Organize and maintain Youth Ministries’ storage areas.
  • Keep printers supplied with paper.
  • Restock the break room with coffee, water, etc.
  • Pack and un-pack equipment for seasonal projects such as NAYC, Bible Quizzing, Youth Ministry Training Event, Mid-Winter, etc.

Minimum Training and Experience Required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
