Job description

Founded in 2011 with the brand Ship Sticks, we originally focused on offering a concierge experience for traveling golfers, alleviating the need to lug bulky, expensive, damage-prone gear like golf clubs onto airplanes. Over the years, the company has expanded its specialized services through additional sister brands, including Ship Skis and Ship Camps. Our next big brand offering is Ship&Play, where our goal is to make effortless travel a reality.

Our white-glove services offer an affordable and reliable alternative to carrying, checking, and claiming luggage or other cumbersome items. Our family of brands specialize in hassle-free, door-to-door shipping of golf clubs, luggage, ski gear, and more across 180 countries worldwide.

The Sr. Manager, Organic Growth owns Ship&Play\'s organic visibility and on-site conversion performance โ€” the other half of the Direct B2C acquisition engine alongside paid. This role leads technical SEO, AI Overview / Generative Engine Optimization (AIO/GEO) strategy, web content briefing, and conversion rate optimization across the portfolio\'s digital properties, and manages the SEO/organic agency relationship.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own organic visibility strategy: technical SEO, on-page optimization, and site architecture across all brand properties.
  • Lead AI Overview and Generative Engine Optimization (AIO/GEO) strategy as this channel grows in importance.
  • Manage the SEO/organic agency relationship, including evaluating fit as AIO/GEO priorities shift.
  • Own conversion rate optimization (CRO) across digital touchpoints, running structured test-and-learn programs.
  • Develop web content briefs and partner with Content Strategy and Copywriting to execute against them.
  • Report on organic traffic, visibility, and conversion rate performance across brands.
  • Partner with MarTech & AI Enablement on testing infrastructure (e.g., Optimizely/Concord) and analytics.
  • Support cross-sell discovery paths across ShipSticks, ShipCamps, and ShipSkis web properties.
DOMAIN EXPERTISE & QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years in SEO/organic growth, including hands-on technical SEO and CRO program ownership.
  • Working knowledge of emerging AI Overview / Generative Engine Optimization practices.
  • Experience managing an external SEO or content agency.
  • Comfortable partnering with content, brand, and analytics teams to ship structured experiments.
