Reporting to the Director of Inside Sales, the Order Management Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing customer orders, ensuring timely delivery, and customer satisfaction.




Duties/Responsibilities

  • Receives and prepares requests from the sales team or customers for sales orders, order adjustments, and order cancellations.
  • Will use a computer system to retrieve necessary customer information, inventory information, and purchase order status.
  • Provides pricing, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and other order information to the sales team.
  • Works closely with the supply chain department to ensure customer orders can be met within the specified time frame.
  • Maintains files of active orders and updates with changes to orders.
  • Accurately maintains customer accounts to ensure billing information is correct.
  • Communicates effectively with sales, supply chain, and accounting departments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy are required.
  • Proficient computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet software, and database applications.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
