This role is an Oracle application leader, accountable for the overall health, value delivery, and strategic evolution of TriNet's Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform. This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, enterprise-scale financial systems and serves as the product roadmap authority for Oracle ERP capabilities, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, financial governance, and operational excellence. Additional Oracle EPM experience is preferred.
This position is focused on the needs of our internal colleagues, creating and managing TriNet's business application roadmaps in coordination with business unit leaders and engineering partners. This role serves as a strategic and analytical partner to TriNet's business unit leaders and contributes to the implementation of effective solutions and capabilities that address critical business challenges and improve business outcomes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary product manager and functional authority for Oracle ERP Cloud (Expertise in Oracle ERP is required; additional Oracle EPM experience is preferred).
  • Participate in business application development efforts, collaborating with Engineering, Design, UI/UX, and Business Analyst teams to ensure successful application deployments.
  • Implementation and ongoing usage experience with Oracle ERP, specifically:
  • Record to Report (GL, SLA, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting Center); Procure to Pay (Purchasing, Supplier Portal, Accounts Payable, Inventory/Receiving); Order to Cash (Order Management, Revenue Management); Acquire to Retire (Fixed Assets, Payables, GL); Cash to Close (Bank Statement Processing, Reconciliation, Bank Integrations).
  • Additional EPM experience is preferred: Financial Close & Consolidation and Task Manager (FCCS), Account Reconciliation (ARCS), Planning (EPBCS), Enterprise Data Management (EDMCS), Strategic Modeling & Profitability, Narrative and Management Reporting.
  • Own the strategic direction, roadmap, and lifecycle management for Oracle ERP applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and financial transformation initiatives.
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the business application lifecycle, including application and market research, vendor analysis, requirements and roadmap development, and application launch.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, IT, HCM, and Engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize backlogs, and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
  • Maintain and deliver a prioritized backlog for business applications based on roadmap priorities and any interdependencies.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable application roadmaps, KPIs, and investment priorities.
  • Ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, and strong ERP-EPM integration and controls.
  • Act as an executive advisor to senior leaders on enterprise financial system capabilities and emerging Oracle features.
  • Mentor and coach other Business Application Owners and analysts, building enterprise application ownership maturity.
  • Drive vendor management activities including roadmap alignment, ROI analysis, and contract governance.

Work Experience Details Required/Preferred
  • 10+ years of experience owning or leading enterprise business applications, with deep expertise in Oracle ERP (additional experience with EPM platforms is preferred).
  • Proven experience delivering and operating Oracle ERP Cloud solutions in complex finance environments (additional EPM experience is preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial processes in practice and within IT systems.
  • Demonstrated success in agile delivery models, backlog prioritization, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Ability to influence at executive levels and translate business strategy into technology execution.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA certification preferred.

The preferred location for this role is Atlanta, GA, and the salary range for this location is $125,000.00 to $275,000.00. All qualified external applicants will be considered for an in-office role, based in Atlanta. All qualified internal candidates are encouraged to apply and consider relocation to Atlanta and may be considered for remote hire at the company's discretion. The candidate's final salary offer will be based on the candidate's skills, education, work location and experience.
A candidate's compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet's corporate bonus plan.
