Job description

Forklift Operator

Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Secaucus, NJ. This role is responsible for loading and unloading pallets, maintaining inventory accuracy, performing equipment inspections, and ensuring all warehouse procedures and safety protocols are followed. The ideal candidate is bilingual, safety-focused, and experienced operating reach trucks in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 9AM - 5PM
  • Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

  • $18 / hour

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate a stand-up reach forklift to transport, retrieve, and store materials.
  • Load and unload pallets from racks and staging areas safely and efficiently.
  • Follow warehouse procedures for inventory handling and storage.
  • Conduct pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues.
  • Support inventory accuracy by following pick, put-away, and replenishment processes.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to meet daily operational goals.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Job Requirements:

  • MUST be bilingual, English AND Spanish
  • Valid forklift certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating a stand-up reach truck
  • Must be able to follow safety guidelines and warehouse protocols
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
