Job description

Position Summary

The Security Operations Manager oversees daily security operations across assigned client sites, ensuring strong service delivery, workforce readiness, and compliance with company and contractual requirements. The position ensures staffing remains at 100%, NBOT stays below 2% through strategic scheduling, and all required site checks, tours, and reports are completed and reviewed. This role provides direct oversight of the sites leads assigned under them and ensures all operational tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Oversight & Staffing Management
You will ensure all posts are fully staffed during assigned shifts by managing schedules, responding to call-outs, and executing staffing plans. You will also be responsible for keeping NBOT below 2% by using effective coverage strategies and preventing unnecessary overtime. Monitoring attendance, readiness, and performance of Officers is a key expectation, along with coordinating promptly on staffing gaps and relief officer deployment.

Field Supervision & Site Compliance
You will conduct routine and unannounced field inspections, ensuring each Officer sees a manager at least once every 48 hours. You will confirm that site checks are completed, uniform standards are met, post orders are followed, and training requirements are up to date. Any performance issues must be addressed immediately and documented.

Reporting, Documentation & Quality Control
You will review daily activity reports, incident reports, tour data, and compliance documentation to identify concerns and follow up with Officers and Operations Managers. Thorough documentation of inspections, corrective actions, and operational updates is required.

Leadership & Oversight of the Operations Manager
You will supervise and support the assigned Site Leads, ensuring they complete staffing tasks, visits, training checks, and communication requirements. You will also help develop their leadership and decision-making abilities.

Office & Administrative Tasks
You will spend 2–3 hours per shift in the office completing administrative duties, including reviewing reports, managing emails, processing schedules, and coordinating with HR and Payroll. The rest of the shift will be spent in the field visiting sites and assessing operational readiness.

Client & Employee Relations
You will support client relationships through timely communication, responsiveness, and consistent service quality. You will also maintain strong engagement with Officers during field visits to reinforce expectations and morale.
