Job description

CALIBRE, an employee-owned mission-focused solutions and digital transformation company is looking for a Staff Accountant.  The Staff Accountant is responsible for coordinating and supporting various Treasury, General Ledger, and AP functions.

For the Staff Accountant position, we are looking for someone who is able to do the following: 

·       Manage corporate cash management, insurance, credit card, and vehicle pool processes

·       Maintain corporate business licenses and registrations

·       Maintain corporate stock records and shareholder list

·       Support month-end closing process

·       Review and process expense reports

·       Support ESOP, 401(k), financial statement, and various other audits

·       Work on process improvements

·       Other duties as assigned


Required Skills

·      Knowledge of treasury functions

·       Knowledge of general financial accounting

·       Knowledge of GAAP and FAR

·      Effective oral and written communication skills

·       Excellent organizational and analytical skills and extreme attention to detail

·       Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)


Required Experience

  5+ years of related experience (general ledger, corporate treasury operations)

Working knowledge of GovCon ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint)

BA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university
