Responsibilities include: Full lifecycle development from gathering requirements directly from customers, designing solutions, developing prototypes, validating designs and prototypes with customers; Serve as a Trusted Advisor to Clients for their infrastructure concerns and issues managing development projects and interactions with customers; Work with client IT staff and review business requirements, solution alternatives, designs, and standards compliance; Train, guide and mentor company's client's IT staff in adapting IT standards, best practices to provide superior quality solutions for business requirements; Infuse architectural concepts like reusability, standards based, configuration driven, scalable and manageable solutions; Partner with existing subject matter experts in technology architecture (network, storage, backup/recovery, virtualization, mobility, operating systems, etc.) providing thought leadership to technical strategy; Drive product roadmaps, review and analyze current architecture and its ability to support strategic objectives; Collaborate with all levels of client and internal IT staff; Provide technical sales support and retention of existing clients by solving issues related to infrastructure; Developing final solutions that meet design parameters consistent with business goals within Rimini Street that are significantly different than legacy industry practices; Analyze technical problems and find the root cause, proposing a viable solution; Align the project deliverables with the Rimini's roadmap, identifying the customer needs and incorporate them into Rimini products. Effective communication skills: Create and deliver presentations to all levels, write product documentation (guides, datasheets, etc.), be able to communicate to the customer to understand requirements and explain the solution; Deep analytical skills and solution orientation: Analyze technical problems and find the root cause, proposing a viable solution. Strategic thinking: Aligning the project deliverables with the Rimini's roadmap, identifying the customer needs and incorporate them into Rimini products. Ability to establish rapport at all levels of the organization. Salary $194,397.00 per year. Requires a Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, plus 10 years of experience in any occupation in which experience was gained. Remote Position. 10% annual travel in office for team meetings and product roadmap planning, in person either at the Las Vegas, NV or Pleasanton, CA office.
Special requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in ERP Systems;
  • 5 years of experience in software development languages including Java, .NET, and Python;
  • 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP programming, SAP interfaces and open-source interfaces such as REST, SOAP and RFCs;
  • 5 years of experience in customer relation skills;
  • 5 years of experience in ERP Systems, integration and software development (ABAP and Java);
  • 5 years of experience common software protocols for networks and applications (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP(s), SMTP, IMAP, POP3REST, SOAP, RFC);
  • 5 years of experience technical experience in ERP Systems, integration and software development.
