Job Summary

Job Summary: This position is responsible for the strategy, sales, operations, and retail merchandising for all T-mobile sports. This person is responsible to lead a store, ecommerce, and on-site warehouse team to achieve sales and profit objectives through bottom-line orientation and consistent operational procedures. This position will oversee the execution of sales and merchandising aspects of store operations and strategic vision for ecommerce, and be the primary or secondary purchaser for the property. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop schedule for visual merchandising for game days, special events, holidays, and promotions

  • Ensure operational financial efficiency of labor costs, budgets, retail expenses, etc.

  • Coordinate, prioritize and communicate tasks and projects for operational efficiency

  • Strong bottom line orientation to achieve key sales standards and measures

  • Build, train, motivate and inspire Ecommerce Manager and VGK Manager

  • Build and maintain high quality relationships with the client and act as a general secondary point of contact for client strategy and communication

  • Purchase with responsible inventory practices for product categories to be defined later

  • Analyze and digest data to successfully build a high quality, unique and efficient assortment

  • Purchase inventory that meets client brand standards and is unique to R+R

  • Strategically implement and execute inventory risk mitigation and markdown strategy on site at TMA

  • Complete operational oversight and execution for games, concerts and event product, merchandising, and sales

  • Provide clear performance & behavioral feedback to team members and address concerns

  • Set an example of outstanding attendance, positive attitude, professionalism, and respect.

  • Promote and contribute to an orderly and safe work environment

  • Maximize productivity by establishing a positive culture through excellent planning, thinking, and organizational skills

  • Protect inventory from internal and external theft

  • Be a good teammate, contribute positively to a winning culture, and be respectful

  • Demonstrate world-class customer service and if you don't directly interact with the customer, support those that do

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5-6 years retail and management experience

  • Relevant math and computer skills

  • Previous purchasing experience strongly preferred

  • Knowledge of Retail Cloud and Shopify preferred

  • Demonstrate accountability, adaptability, dependability, collaboration and respect

  • Demonstrate leadership skills and attributes

  • Proven ability to execute tasks and manage teams
