Job description

Manager Of Respiratory Care

As the Manager of Respiratory Care, your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of your dynamic team, supervising and mentoring all respiratory care practitioners, and assisting the Director by preparing quarterly and annual budget goals. In collaboration with the Medical Director, you will develop efficient and effective methods to evaluate the quality and diversity of the respiratory care provided to our patients per established goals. You will have the support of 4 Supervisors to oversee a staff of over 35 Respiratory Therapists. Your team will rely on you not only for insight into workflow and expected quality standards, but also for leadership and mediation in areas such as staffing, performance evaluation, provision of services and more!

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent required
  • Degree from an AMA school of Respiratory Care required
  • 3 years of relevant experience, including demonstrated leadership ability required
  • Special skills which include knowledge of all pulmonary procedures, modalities and related activities required

Licenses and Certifications

  • RCP - State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required
  • RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist w/ NBRC required
