Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Area QC Lead to assist managing and overseeing the quality control processes on the Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) project. The Area QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets the project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role will collaborate with the construction team, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained throughout the construction process.
Duties:Â
- Assist with implementing and managing the area-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP).
- Monitor construction activities to ensure they comply with quality standards, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues early and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with the approved project design and contract documents.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members, ensuring they understand and follow QC procedures.
- Coordinate with the project management team to maintain efficient project progress while ensuring quality standards.
- Organize and oversee the inspection and testing of materials, workmanship, and finished work.
- Ensure all tests and inspections are documented and results are communicated promptly to project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with third-party testing agencies for specialized inspections or certifications.
