Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven professional responsible for partnering closely with Clients, Contractors, Project Managers, Engineering Teams, and Department Leadership to develop, maintain, analyze, and report on complex project schedules, budgets, forecasts, progress measurements, earned value metrics, and project performance. This role serves as a key member of the Project Controls team, ensuring projects are planned, executed, andย monitoredย effectively throughout the entire project lifecycle.ย 

The ideal candidate willย possessย extensive experience in engineering and construction project environments,ย demonstratedย expertiseย with Primavera P6 scheduling, and a strong understanding of project controls methodologies. This position requires regular interaction with client stakeholders and will involve time spent both at client offices and active project/construction sites.ย A willingnessย and ability to travel asย requiredย is essential.ย 

ย Job Duties/Responsibilities:ย 

  • Develop,ย maintain, and analyze integrated project schedulesย utilizingย Primavera P6 to support engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.ย 

  • Develop and implement project controls processes, procedures, and best practices related to scheduling, forecasting, progress measurement, reporting, and performance monitoring.ย 

  • Coordinate andย consolidateย multiple sources of project data into a comprehensive projectย controlsย platform to support decision-making and project execution.ย 

  • Establish andย maintainย baseline schedules, track schedule performance,ย identifyย variances, and provide recovery plans and mitigation strategies whenย required.ย 

  • Participate in weekly and monthly project reviews with clients, contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to provide schedule analysis, forecasting, cost reporting, and project performance updates.ย 

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, and construction personnel toย monitorย project progress and ensure alignment with projectย objectivesย and milestones.ย 

  • Prepare and deliverย timely,ย accurate, and meaningful project status reports, dashboards, forecasts, and executive-level presentations.ย 

  • Support earned value analysis, schedule risk assessments, change management activities, and project forecasting efforts.ย 

  • Ensure schedules are regularly updated and communicated to project stakeholders, subcontractors, and management teams.ย 

  • Review and evaluate contractor schedules, progress updates, and schedule impacts.ย 

  • Develop andย maintainย project budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to support successful project delivery.ย 

  • Provide site support and conduct field verification as necessary toย validateย project progress and schedule accuracy.ย 

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Project Controls function.ย 

Minimum Qualifications:ย 

Education:ย 

  • Associate's Degreeย or higher preferredย ย 

Experience:ย 

Min Yr =ย 10Maxย Yr = 15+ย 

  • Minimum 10 years of Project Controls, Project Scheduling, or Construction Controls experience.ย 

  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale engineering, infrastructure, industrial, energy, petrochemical, or construction projects.ย 

  • Strong understanding of engineering project phases, including planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project closeout.ย 

  • Experience working directly with clients, contractors, engineering teams, and field personnel.ย 

  • Willingness to travel and work in both office and field/site environments as project needsย dictate.ย 

Technical Skills:ย 

  • Advancedย proficiencyย withย Primavera P6ย (required).ย 

  • Experience withย Oracle Primavera Prismย (preferred).ย 

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.ย 

  • Experience with projectย controlsย software and scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Power BI, and other reporting platforms.ย 

  • Knowledge of earned value management (EVM), forecasting, cost control, budgeting, and progress measurement methodologies.ย 

  • Ability to develop, analyze, andย maintainย complex resource-loaded schedules.ย 

Management:ย 

  • No direct management experience required; however, proven ability to influence, collaborate, and coordinate across multidisciplinary project teams is preferred.ย
