Position Summary

Magellan Aerospace, Haverhill is a world-class manufacturer of precision machined aerospace components. We have an exciting opportunity for Manager of Programs. The primary responsibility of a Manager of Programs, is to manage and lead all aspects of program management for multiple complex turbine engine component development and transfer activities at Magellan Aerospace.ย  Will be the program leader and key customer contact to develop, manage, report, and execute new product development plans.ย  The Manager of Programs will work with the Program Management department to insure on-time schedule completion and the achievement of business goals and objectives.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 Annual

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assume oversight of customer relations, including program performance and strategic product and technology deployment.
  • Develop and lead a robust cost down program and share goals and initiatives with both customers and members of Magellan Senior Management
  • Lead and oversee sales and contract group and provide input and guidance for internal contract review process.
  • Defines goals and deliverables in collaboration with external customer expectations and internal stakeholders including sales, quality, engineering, operations, finance, and materials.
  • Plan and schedule multiple project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with cross functional team members.ย  Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential barriers, and devise contingency plans.ย 
  • Develop effective communication tools and strategies to ensure all parties are effectively informed.ย  Clearly communicates all deliverables to team members and provides clear, frequent, and effective communications.ย 
  • Leads project status meetings and conducts presentations of project status to senior executives.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred.ย  Or 10 years of experience in Program Management in Manufacturing
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) or Sales Experience desired.
  • Must demonstrate strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills and possess effective communication, problem solving, and conflict resolutions skills and influence without direct authority
