As the Manager of People and Executive Support, youโ€™ll work on-site in Milwaukee and serve as the primary HR contact for our 40+ person firm while also providing trusted support that helps the CEO and leadership team stay focused, prepared, and aligned. This role blends HR, employee support, onboarding, benefits coordination, executive scheduling, communication, and leadership follow-through.

What Youโ€™ll Do

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employee questions, support, and people-related needs.
  • Coordinate recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee records, payroll, benefits, PTO, and HR documentation.
  • Support employee relations, performance review coordination, HR policies, and people-related processes.
  • Manage licensing for architects and the company.
  • Manage the CEOโ€™s calendar, emails, scheduling, meeting preparation, communication, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate leadership meetings, agendas, notes, action items, travel, and key communications.
  • Assist the CFO, COO, CDO, and leadership team with scheduling and administrative support as needed.
  • Help keep HR, leadership, and employee-related priorities organized and moving forward.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in HR, people operations, executive support, office administration, or a similar role.
  • Experience supporting senior executives, business owners, or leadership teams.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, employee support, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, professional presence, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to move with urgency while staying thoughtful, professional, and accurate.
  • Strong organization, follow-up, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism, discretion, and trust.
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 and comfort learning or helping implement HR, recruiting, and business systems as the company grows. (ADP experience is a plus).
  • Experience in architecture, engineering, construction, professional services, or creative industries is a plus, not a requirement.
