About Position: ***This job posting is for internal candidates only***

  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Duties/ Responsibilities - The Assistant Manager of Patient Access works under the direction of the Manager of Patient Access and supports the daily operations of the Patient Scheduling Hub across multiple locations. This role assists in overseeing scheduling staff, monitoring performance metrics, ensuring quality customer service, and maintaining efficient patient access workflows. The Assistant Manager helps coordinate staff training, monitors call quality to identify coaching and educational opportunities, and supports compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. This position serves as a resource for scheduling staff, assists with troubleshooting scheduling and phone system issues, and collaborates with leadership to implement process improvements that enhance patient access, patient satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The Assistant Manager also assists in developing and delivering training programs, monitoring adherence to front-end compliance standards, and supporting site management in achieving departmental goals and performance expectations.

Minimum Qualifications -

Education/Experience:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of equivalent management experience within a clinic or health care practice. Prior experience with integrated delivery system highly desirable. 
  • Or BS or BA in related field with 3-5 years of supervisory experience within a clinic or health care practice maybe substituted for the above if supplemented with appropriate/relevant administrative and managerial experience. 
  • Or Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred with prior experience leading advanced improvement and quality initiatives and health care delivery.  

Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment

Pay Range: $50,306.00 - $67,607.00 (commensurate with years of experience)
