Job description

Broadridge is growing! We are seeking a Manager of Production Operations to join our established and dynamic team in Coppell, TX. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of printing in a production operations environment. You will manage Operations Supervisors across multiple shifts, ensuring productivity, quality, and client and associate satisfaction. The Manger of Production of Operations plays a critical role in translating strategic vision into day-to-day execution, driving operational excellence, and fostering a teamwork culture that puts clients and associates at the forefront.

This is an on-site role that will be assigned to a Broadridge location where you will perform the majority of your work.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage departmental expenses (commodities, labor, discretionary spending, etc.), preparing business cases as required for capital expenditures

  • Establish, communicate, and revise departmental and individual KPIs

  • Provide performance feedback and guide talent development of direct reports and team members through regular and frequent feedback

  • Responsible for maximizing Client Mail equipment utilization by ensuring that all machines are kept running and work is prioritized appropriately

  • Maintain current knowledge of high-speed insertion and manual insertion and relevant technologies used within other Broadridge locations and within the industry

  • Develop solid technical knowledge of all Client Mail equipment along with a solid understanding of the functions of all other departments (including their capabilities, limitations, capacities, etc.)

  • Maintains current industry knowledge of USPS regulations and ensures that all work is inserted in accordance of postal requirements

  • Provides staff with performance feedback on a regular basis, ensuring that all performance is thoroughly and accurately documented

  • Effectively deals with personnel related issues, ensuring that all assigned staff are effectively managed, motivating staff to create a highly engaging workforce

  • Ensure that multiple backups are available to support each function with Client Mail Insertion and Manual Distribution

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree (Business Management, or a related field) preferred, or equivalent experience

  • 2-5 years of experience managing people leaders in a high-paced environment, with 1-2 years of relevant print/mail, production or manufacturing experience preferred

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to think on your feet; creative problem-solving skills and high attention to detail, making sure output is up to our clients' high quality standards

  • Experience with capacity planning and budget management

  • Flexibility required for non-standard hours during peak production periods and potential critical client or facility events, including weekend and holidays

  • Strong leadership presence and self-starter initiative: inspiring teams and driving progress in a high-pressure, fast-changing environment

  • Proven track record of operational excellence: implementing and meeting KPIs, improving workflows, and building/developing high-performing teams

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills: effectively communicating with vendors, staff, and management at all seniority levels

  • Solid organizational skills: effectively managing multiple priorities simultaneously, working under tight deadlines and pressure.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, including knowledge of pivot tables, advanced formulas, file linking, charts/graphs, etc.

  • Must be able to travel occasionally to attend trade shows, or internal/external site visits

The work hours are Mid Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, with some flexibility required during training and peak times.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000 annual base, with a shift differential. Eligible for annual bonus. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
