Lead Toddler Teacher
Location: The Learning Experience – Newark, DE
Pay: $17–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Lead Toddler Teacher – Help Little Learners Grow with Confidence
The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our energetic toddler classroom. This role is perfect for an educator who enjoys helping young children build independence, language, and social-emotional skills through engaging, play-based learning experiences.
As the Lead Toddler Teacher, you'll create a structured, nurturing classroom while partnering with families and mentoring Assistant Teachers to ensure every child receives exceptional care and education.
Responsibilities
  • Lead all daily activities and routines for the toddler classroom
  • Implement developmentally appropriate lessons using The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
  • Foster children's language, cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development
  • Create a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment
  • Mentor and collaborate with Assistant Teachers
  • Build strong relationships with children and families through ongoing communication
  • Maintain compliance with Delaware licensing regulations and center policies
Qualifications
  • Delaware TECE I and TECE II credentials required

  • Previous experience leading a toddler classroom preferred
  • Strong understanding of toddler development and developmentally appropriate practices
