Are you a strategic finance leader who thrives on influencing performance across a portfolio? As a Regional Director of Finance, you'll serve as the trusted advisor to the Regional Vice President of Operations, shaping financial strategy, driving results, and elevating performance across multiple properties.

This is more than a traditional finance role-you'll be a key partner to operations, a mentor to on-property finance leaders, and a driver of accountability, insight, and growth across the region.

Remote role with a preference to be based in the Pacific time zone; Mountain or Central time zones will be considered with the ability to support Pacific time zone business hours. Occasional travel required for corporate and regional meetings, property visits, and other business needs.

What You'll DoLead Financial Performance
  • Provide strategic financial guidance to property and regional leadership teams.
  • Review and analyze financial statements, turning data into actionable insights that drive results.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and meaningful reporting across all properties.
Own the Numbers
  • Oversee the month-end close process, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to timelines.
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure a high standard of financial integrity.
  • Maintain compliance with GAAP, USALI, and company accounting standards.
Drive Planning & Forecasting
  • Partner with teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and capital plans that align with business goals.
  • Leverage market trends, operational insight, and data to build realistic, strategic projections.
  • Hold teams accountable to deadlines and performance expectations.
Strengthen Financial Operations
  • Provide oversight of core accounting functions including cash management, AP/AR, payroll, and audits.
  • Ensure strong internal controls and operational discipline across all properties.
  • Optimize the use of financial systems and tools, providing training and guidance where needed.
Build & Develop High-Performing Teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop a network of Directors of Finance 
  • Partner with General Managers to support performance, accountability, and growth.
  • Play a key role in hiring, onboarding, and developing top finance talent.
Be a Strategic Partner
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Vice President and leadership team to support key initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, streamline processes, and enhance performance.
  • Actively participate in property visits, meetings, and presentations-bringing financial clarity to every conversation.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, ideally within hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and balance sheet management.
  • Deep understanding of GAAP and USALI.
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
