Part-Time Event Operations Staff

Position Summary

Ember Lodge is seeking dependable, energetic, and detail-oriented Event Operations team members to help create exceptional event experiences. This position is responsible for preparing the venue before events, assisting during events as needed, and resetting the venue afterward to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in attention to detail, and enjoy being part of a team that delivers memorable weddings, corporate events, and social celebrations.

Key Responsibilities

Event Setup

  • Set tables, chairs, linens, and décor according to event layouts.

  • Prepare and clean indoor and outdoor event spaces for guest arrival.

  • Assist with ceremony and reception setup.

  • Ensure all event spaces meet Ember Lodge presentation standards.

Event Support

  • Provide operational support throughout events as directed.

  • Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness during events.

  • Assist vendors, bartenders, and event staff when needed.

  • Quickly respond to operational needs while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Event Teardown & Venue Reset

  • Remove linens, décor, tables, and chairs following events.

  • Reset rooms according to venue standards for upcoming events.

  • Clean and organize storage areas.

  • Report maintenance concerns or damaged equipment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and moving furniture for extended periods.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

  • Previous hospitality, event, banquet, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Work Schedule

This is a part-time, event-based position. Hours vary based on the event calendar and primarily include evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Event Operations Lead for day-to-day event execution and follows the operational standards established by the Event Supervisor.
