Position contingent upon award of contract, government acceptance of candidate, and positive adjudication of government investigation.
Position Summary:
The Data Analytics / Automation SME provides technical systems/analytics/automation expertise and data and analytics support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) - Data and Analytics Team. Specifically:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
β€’ Develop Artificial Intelligence products, tools, etc. and User Facing Products in Microsoft Power Platform, and UiPath
β€’ Identify opportunities to improve Financial Management remediation processes and propose modernized, data-driven approaches (e.g., automation, data analytics, workflow improvements) to increase efficiency, improve traceability, and reduce rework.
β€’ Deploy AI/Automation tools and products and operate these products to provide client assistance with Grants management, review of grant data and information, etc.
β€’ Developing strategies to identify areas of opportunity to optimize statistical efficiency and quality of accounting data
β€’ Review, recommend, and develop use cases and tools/bots for Accounting related Automation efforts, specifically related to the following activities:
o Financial transaction clean-up and processing
o Risk Management and Internal Controls testing, processing, tracking, and review
o Feeder system data and financial system use cases
o IDOC error report (DTS, AXOL, DCPS, etc.) clean-up and report generation
β€’ Design and deploy attended automations in UiPath to address the client's most pressing accounting issues
β€’ Conduct analysis on financial, accounting, and budgetary trends impacting the client's operations
β€’ Performing financial data collection through available tools (Discoverer, OBIEE, and APEX)
β€’ Identifying accounting anomalies and recommend corrective (preventative) actions
β€’ Ability to leverage Oracle Federal Financials functionality and domain knowledge to assist in solution development
Education & Experience Requirements
Education
β€’ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
Clearance
β€’ Active Secret clearance required
Experience:
β€’ 5 years of experience in BI/ Data Analytics/Automation and Data Analytics
β€’ Proficient with UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, Power Apps, etc.)
β€’ Must be willing and able to travel as required
β€’ Knowledge of DHS Systems and Data Analytics/Big Data Platforms and Automation tools
β€’ U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED
