Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Manager of Safety and Security. As our Manager of Safety and Security, you will have twenty-four hour responsibility for the safety of all employees, patients and visitors to our campus. You will manage all activities of the on-site security staff. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other; we are seeking a likeminded individual to join our team. Your responsibilities may include:

· You will coordinate safety activities and training relative to safety compliance issues. 

· You will be responsible for the valet parking service and campus transportation.

· You will coordinate the development and implementation of the facility’s Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). You will work collaboratively with local and regional agencies maintaining close liaison with local police and other law enforcement agencies

· You will review all safety-related incident reports, maintaining an accessible database of incidents closely monitoring any trends.

· You will develop and implement training programs for facility’s security officers..

· You will monitor current safety-related legislation and regulatory agency standards and ensure the hospital’s compliance. This includes planning and executing emergency exercises.

    What qualifications you will need:

    · Associate’s Degree in healthcare administration, engineering, or related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred

    · Five years’ experience in safety or eight years relevant experience

    · Demonstrated skills in organization, verbal and written communications, customer service, math, analysis, reading, following instruction, basic computer usage
