Data Center Director - SES

The Florida Department of Health in Hillsborough County is looking for a Data Center Director. This position oversees the Information Technology (IT) Department and manages staff to support local and wide area networks, desktop computer support, and intranet/internet access. The role also includes serving as the Information Security officer, System Administrator, and Disaster Recovery Coordinator. Responsibilities include maintaining IT systems, performing annual reviews, managing budgets, and responding to disasters. The position requires knowledge of computer operations, budgetary processes, project control, and data processing, along with the ability to communicate effectively and coordinate work assignments. Minimum qualifications include three years of customer service, supervisory, network and computer support, and project management experience, and a valid Florida Driver’s License. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and experience with network cable installation, Microsoft Windows Server, and Voice over IP Telephone systems.
