Job description

Tract Capital adopts a unique approach to digital infrastructure investment. Our team of specialized experts is united by a singular purpose: to support the growth of digital infrastructure, and we act as a strategic partner and catalyst for innovation across the sector.

As Tract grows its office footprint, we are seeking a Manager of Facilities to oversee all current TCM office properties and help identify, plan, and operationalize future office spaces across North America. This role sits within the HR team and is responsible for ensuring our offices are well-run, safe, scalable, employee-ready, and reflective of the high standards of the Tract platform. The Manager of Facilities will balance day-to-day office operations with longer-range facilities planning, build-outs, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination tied to growth.

About the Role

The Manager of Facilities will serve as the operational owner of Tract Capital’s office environments, balancing day-to-day facilities execution with longer-range workplace planning, office build-outs, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator and credible project lead who can manage multiple sites, solve problems quickly, and support a workplace experience that enables employees and visitors to do their best work.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will lead the core facilities, workplace operations, and office expansion activities that support Tract Capital’s growing platform.

Lead multi-site facilities operations
  • Oversee day-to-day facilities management for existing office locations, ensuring spaces are safe, functional, well maintained, and aligned with company standards.
  • Manage core office services, including preventative maintenance, repairs, janitorial services, security access coordination, supplies, mail and shipping, pantry programs, and workplace support.
  • Establish consistent facilities standards, operating procedures, service expectations, and escalation processes across offices.
Support office expansion and build-outs
  • Partner with the Chief People Officer and business leaders to support office expansion strategy and evaluate prospective locations from an operational, employee experience, and scalability perspective.
  • Coordinate with brokers, landlords, project managers, architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders during office selection, lease commencement, build-out, and occupancy planning.
  • Track milestones, risks, budgets, readiness items, and launch activities for new offices, renovations, expansions, relocations, and moves.
Space planning and workplace readiness
  • Own office capacity planning and develop recurring assessments of space needs by location.
  • Partner with People, IT, and business leaders to ensure offices are ready for new hires, transfers, team growth, and organizational changes.
  • Coordinate seating plans, workstation readiness, conference room functionality, storage needs, and shared-space optimization.
Vendor and budget management
  • Source, manage, and evaluate third-party facilities vendors and service providers.
  • Oversee vendor performance, contract scope, service quality, issue resolution, and ongoing service consistency.
  • Support facilities-related operating and project budgets, including invoice review, spend tracking, cost control, and process improvement.
Cross-functional partnership and employee experience
  • Partner with the People team to support onboarding, offboarding, employee events, and day-to-day workplace experience needs.
  • Coordinate with IT on workplace technology readiness, access, equipment logistics, and infrastructure needs.
  • Support business continuity, office safety, emergency preparedness, workplace compliance, reception, and general office operations where applicable.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent practical experience in facilities management, workplace operations, property management, hospitality, construction management, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in facilities, workplace, office operations, or property management roles.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple office locations and supporting office openings, expansions, relocations, renovations, or build-outs.
  • Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial, professional services, real estate-heavy, or multi-location operating environments is preferred.
Technical / Functional Expertise
  • Strong working knowledge of facilities operations, vendor management, lease-related coordination, office build-outs, workplace services, and space planning.
  • Experience managing budgets, project trackers, vendors, service standards, and office readiness across multiple sites.
  • Working knowledge of workplace safety practices, building operations, common facilities compliance requirements, and standard workplace tools such as Microsoft Office.
Industry Experience
  • Corporate office facilities experience is required.
  • Experience supporting growth-stage companies, private equity-backed businesses, infrastructure, technology, industrial, professional services, or real estate-oriented organizations is a plus.
Core Skills & Competencies
  • Strong ownership mentality with the ability to move between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Excellent project management, judgment, problem-solving, and prioritization skills in fast-moving environments.
  • High service orientation, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively with executives, employees, landlords, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, dependable, and comfortable influencing stakeholders without direct authority.

Approximately 20% travel within North America is expected.
