Job description

The Manager of Patient Access is responsible for the daily operations of the registration, insurance authorizations, central scheduling, front-end collections, mail room and operators. Primary focuses of this position includes patients are authorized and scheduled for procedures in a timely manner, registered accurately, patient financial responsibilities are communicated and met, including incoming calls are answered and transferred properly. Duties include, but are not limited to, training employees, implementing policy and procedure changes, monitoring work to ensure quality and service standards are met, completing performance appraisals, conducting staff meetings, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned. The Manager should demonstrate EPIC technical expertise, hospital based patient access management experience and leadership qualities, hold a Bachelor's degree or have the equivalent of job experience.
