Job description

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth (Hybrid)

Reports To: Race Director / Leadership Team

Position Type: Full-Time (Base Salary + Performance-Based Commission)

As we continue to strengthen our position and expand our presence within the industry, Racing Systems is experiencing significant growth across its ecosystem. To support this exciting momentum, we are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and community-driven leader to join our team as Manager of Community and Brand Partnerships & Activations – Endurance Events. We don’t just produce races, we create high-energy, community-driven experiences that bring people together through movement and connection.

This role sits at the intersection of revenue growth, brand partnerships, and community engagement, owning the full lifecycle from sponsorship sales to race-day execution and post-event impact.

We’re looking for a high-energy, relationship-driven professional who can identify opportunities, secure partnerships, ignite activations, and ensure flawless execution in a fast-paced environment.

This role is for someone who knows that execution matters as much as the sale and who is passionate about building partnerships that elevate the athlete experience.

About Racing Systems:

At Racing Systems, we don’t just produce events, we create finish lines, personal records, and unforgettable community moments.

Key Responsibilities:

Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Own and exceed annual sponsorship revenue targets across all endurance events
  • Develop and execute a strategic, results-driven sponsorship sales plan
  • Prospect, pitch, and close local, regional, and national brand partnerships
  • Create and sell innovative sponsorship packages (multi-event, multi-year, title, presenting, exclusivity, VIP experiences, on-course activations)
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline from prospecting through renewal
  • Clearly articulate ROI, audience reach, and brand exposure to partners
  • Step in where needed because in endurance events, teamwork and adaptability win the race

Community Engagement & Run Club Activations

  • Lead development of community-first activations that extend beyond race day
  • Build relationships with run clubs, ambassadors, fitness communities, and local businesses
  • Create consistent, high-energy engagement touchpoints in key markets
  • Integrate sponsors into authentic, community-driven experiences
  • Manage or support and grow ambassador and grassroots engagement programs

Partnership Management & Retention

  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for all sponsors
  • Deliver exceptional partner experiences from onboarding through post-event recap
  • Drive sponsor retention, renewals, and upsell opportunities
  • Build long-term, strategic partnerships vs. transactional deals
  • Lead post-event reporting, demonstrating value and setting up future growth

Event Activations & Experience

  • Design and execute high-energy, on-brand, and interactive sponsor activations
  • Oversee all sponsor touchpoints including expos, on-course integrations, and finish line experiences
  • Ensure flawless execution of all deliverables with strong attention to detail and timelines
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Race Director and Operations to ensure seamless integration
  • Own sponsor activation quality, engagement, and overall experience impact

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field
  • 5–8+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, partnerships, or event marketing
  • Experience in endurance events, sports, or live event environments strongly preferred
  • Clearly articulate ROI, brand exposure, and audience reach to prospective sponsors
  • Proven track record of exceeding new business and partnership retention goals while driving consistent revenue growth
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to work race weekends, early mornings, holidays, and travel as needed

Note:

To keep this role focused on sales and partnerships, the following responsibilities will remain with Operations and Race Directors:

  • Permitting, course design, and safety planning
  • Coordination with police, EMS, vendors, and volunteers
  • Event logistics (load-in/load-out, equipment management)
  • Final decision-making on race operations and activation feasibility

Benefits:

  • Full-time team members receive:
    • Competitive compensation + performance incentives
    • Group health insurance
    • Paid time off + company holidays
    • Professional development opportunities
    • Racing Systems Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Employment Type: Full Time
Years Experience: 3 - 5 years
Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 Annual
Bonus/Commission: No
