Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development leader to drive our growth in industrial automation, precision manufacturing, and factory automation markets. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in laser displacement technology and high-precision sensing solutions for industrial applications. You will define market strategies, build key partnerships, and drive product adoption, working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Aeva’s laser displacement and high-precision sensing solutions in industrial automation.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and key industry players.
  • Lead business development efforts to expand Aeva’s presence in manufacturing, robotics, and industrial automation sectors.
  • Responsible for sales and business development of new products to large-scale commercial orders.
  • Shape product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate Aeva’s value proposition in precision measurement and automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define customer needs, market requirements, and product roadmaps.
  • Represent Aeva at industry conferences and trade shows, positioning the company as a leader in high-precision sensing technology.
  • Secure and develop customer relationships successfully to production.
What you’ll have:
  • Deep technical understanding of laser displacement sensors, LiDAR, 3D camera, line-scanner, and other high-precision measurement technologies used in manufacturing and robotics.
  • Well connected in the industrial automation market
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for high-tech industrial products.
