This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency and the user experience. Accountabilities

  • This position reports to the Product Owner of Clinical Applications on the Product Solutions Team
    • To bring improved and innovative processes using the change control procedures and effective communication for all product users to ensure engagement and utilization of products/applications.
    • To meet and exceed departmental and assigned business KPIs.
    • To assist other teams and work in a demanding and dynamic team environment.
    • To demonstrate high personal and professional conduct with all stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Application Management: Oversee the performance, configuration, and updates of business applications, ensuring they align with organizational objectives and all changes are documented via the change management process and procedures.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and document functional and technical requirements. Develop well organized deliverables with limited direction.
  • Analysis and Optimization: Research and analyze application workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize processes and enhance user satisfaction.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide support for application-related issues, performing root cause analysis and coordinating with IT support teams to resolve problems.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct testing for application updates and new implementations, ensuring functionality and compatibility with existing systems and integrations.
  • Training and Support:
    • Collaborate with training team to develop training materials and conduct user training sessions to ensure effective use of applications across the organization.
    • Provide excellent communication to system users and leadership regarding updates, changes and outages.
    • Recognizes trends or barriers to utilization by users and works with senior team member and internal teams to improve the experience maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application processes, changes, procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams, developers, vendors and appropriate stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of applications and troubleshoot issues to promote best practices, system engagement and ensure patient safety.

  • Any additional roles and responsibilities not listed above and deemed necessary.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Associates Degree Recommended. Bachelor's degree preferred in IT, Computer Science, Business Admin or related field.
  • Proven experience as an applications analyst or similar role
  • Strong understanding of business processes and systems analysis
  • Proficiency in application management tools and methodologies
  • Proven skill in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Experience with LeadingReach, Electronic Medical Record systems (athenaOne) and Phreesia preferred
  • Willingness and ability to attend after hour business meetings and business-related events, as needed
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Travel, as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • 4+ years of healthcare experience; 2-4 years of applications support and/or analyst experience
  • Product Development and Vendor Management experience
  • Experience with diagramming software (MS Vizio, Lucid or similar)
  • Knowledge of Zoho or similar CRM tool.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Project Management, Product Owner, other applicable certifications)
