Job description

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.
Duties: Participate in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation, as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Act as a Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders, Business team and other team members. Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk technology, applications development, model development, and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas. Analyze and fix real-time issues. Participate in requirement gathering, creating project scope documents, and create architectural documents. Create design, develop technical solutions and recommend advance programming solutions for business requests. Perform unit testing, support integration, and support user acceptance testing. Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users. Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems and issues, provide evaluation of business process, system process, and industry standards, and make evaluative judgement. Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality. Consult with users and clients and other technology groups on issues, recommend advanced programming solutions, and install and assist customer exposure systems. Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 4 years of experience as a Software Developer, Assistant Consultant, Project Manager, Technical Lead, Senior Developer or related position involving Quality Assurance testing, Customer Acceptance testing, System and regression testing and software deployment support. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in the stated fields and 6 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the listed positions. Full span of experience must include: zTPF, zTPF-C/C++, zTPF-DF, Sabre-Talk, IBM Mainframe, IBM CMS, IBM TPF Toolkit, C/C++, TPF Assembler, IBM ESA/390 Assembler, IBM Toolkit; Analyze and develop technical solutions for business requests; Develop software code to implement functional design; Document Technical Design and Test Plans; and Preparing project scope documents, architecture documents, technical design, analysis, testing and work product review documents; Conducting peer reviews.
