Location (city, state): New York, NY (Hybrid Schedule)

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Manager of Administrative Support to lead a team of administrative professionals and enhance the effectiveness of day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for managing workflow, developing talent, improving processes, and partnering with senior leadership to ensure exceptional administrative support across the organization.

The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader with experience managing large teams, improving operational processes, and creating a positive, high-performing team culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of administrative professionals, supporting performance management, engagement, and career growth
  • Oversee daily administrative operations, workload distribution, and workflow improvements
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies
  • Drive consistent service delivery and ensure high-quality support across multiple teams
  • Support change management initiatives and help teams adapt to evolving business needs
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and promote a collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8+ years of experience managing large teams and operational functions
  • Proven ability to coach and develop employees in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and administrative technology systems
  • Experience managing calendars, travel coordination, and document management platforms preferred
  • Professional services, financial services or legal industry experience
